Thanks for checking out my work! I’ve put a lot of effort into making each piece, so I truly appreciate taking the time to browse around. I am a freelance motion designer based out of Denver, Colorado. I started my career in interior architecture, where I fell in love with design and 3D, bringing my images to life. I've been freelancing for over 10 years in motion design and find helping client's realize their vision the most creatively satisfying way to utilize my skills. I pride myself on being flexible, efficient and fun to work with.
When I’m not creating new work or learning new techniques, you can find me at a movie, catching a concert at Red Rocks, on the golf course, or up in the mountains, exploring all that nature has to offer. So if you have any questions, feel free to reach out. My social media links are below.
I’ve been freelancing in some form or another since 2003. In all that time, I’ve had the honor to work with some great companies and many great, talented individuals and teams. It’s been eye opening to learn and contribute to some projects I am truly proud to be a part of. I feel the key to a successful collaboration is to ask questions and experiment. On each team, I try to listen, learn and contribute to the best of my ability. I’ve worked across a wide array of industries. And find that, while each is unique, the process of creative problem solving is universal. Tackling problems head-on isn’t always the most efficient solution. Many times, it must be approached from many different angles and perspectives that aren’t necessarily immediately explored. Through experimentation, patience, and old fashioned hard work, I’ve found that no challenge is unsolvable.
While studying interior architecture at Ohio State, I developed a strong foundation in the design principles that will always guide me to a sound, creative solution. Relying on a systematic approach to creative problem-solving has always freed me up to explore the creative aspects of a project. When I made the decision to shift my career to motion and animation, I knew I could rely on that process to be a successful animator.
At AiC’s Motion and VFX department, I was given the time to experiment and explore other techniques to help problem solve. With educators and students from around the world, I learned to approach challenges from various perspectives and points of view.
Design education takes a life-long dedication to learning new approaches, software and various other creative techniques. True appreciation of the design process has taught me to see the opportunities that come with success, failure, and how to learn from both. That process has made me a better designer and collaborator.
